Hey'all!
This is the unofficial weblog of Geriatrics Course Batch 11 of the Philippine College of Geriatrics and Gerontology, Inc. We started the course only last May 2008. As of last count, we are 28-doctors strong, and hoping that our batchmate who dropped out (we miss you, Doc Ferdie!) will come back...Also, that everyone else will be present for the next module, which by the way will commence on the first week of October.
If you are from Batch 11 -- welcome, Doctor!
If you are just looking around, you are welcome to the site too!
Here you will find a conglomeration of things and programs, sometimes professional but always cool, that pertain to our activities as future geriatricians or snippets of odds-and-ends we all pick up from everywhere. Do not be surprised, for example, to find a virtual jukebox of pop songs (courtesy of Dr. Nat Salvador) or a recipe for long life (courtesy of Dr. Rose Espiritu). We post everything and ANYTHING our batchmates deem informative and fun. Everyone can contribute!
Of course, we will be posting pics of our recent activities too. As a bonus, we will accept comments and questions from the random visitor who wants to be enlightened about, well, just about anything! Please don't hesitate to ask.
Meanwhile, I invite you to enjoy your visit and I hope you will be back many more times in the future!
